On April 10th 1994 twenty year old seattle man Daniel Kaspar returned home from the Cobain candelight vigil and shot himself in the head. Far away in Australia a teenage boy shoots himself in honor to Kurt. The following day a sixteen year old turkish girl locks herself in her room, puts on a Nirvana CD, full volume, and shoots herself in the head. The Seattle Crisis Clinic was fielding three hundred calls a day, 50% more than usual. Mental health professionals feared a mass of copycat suicides...and they were right.
Over 70 suicides were reported to have been linked to Kurt Cobain's death. Not only does Kurt Cobain need justice, but so do they.
These suicides were the result of incomplete police work, done by the police of seattle who arrived at the scene of Kurts death so many years ago. This was "an open-shut case" of suicide. The note Kurt allegedly wrote was reported as a "suicide note" before it was even read. Kurts death was ruled a suicide within minutes of arriving upon the scene, with little or no forensic evidence. If you dont beleive Kurt was murdered, think for just one minute that Kurts death had been ruled a murder, as a result, i dont think many, or any of those suicides would have taken place. And if Kurt Cobain was truely murdered, and this is a cover, think of all those who no longer can speak and died not knowing the truth, and because of shitty police work that told them something wrong. This case needs to be re-opened to fully be cleared as a suicide, it needs a new approach, and it needs justice.
